Terms of use
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms cover using DropYourQuote. They are short on purpose. Please read them before you upload a quote.
Who we are
DropYourQuote is a UK business. Contact: info@dropyourquote.com.
What we do
- You upload a builder's quote. We look at it and try to price the same job for less through our partner suppliers.
- If we find a lower price, we send you an offer in your account. If we can't, we tell you.
- It is free to use. You don't pay us anything and there is no obligation to accept an offer.
Our offers
- An offer is based on the information in your quote and what you tell us. If the job turns out to be different (for example, different sizes or materials), the price may change.
- Each offer says how long it is valid for.
- We can't promise that we will find a saving on every quote.
- If you decide to go ahead, we'll explain who does the work and on what terms before anything is agreed. Nothing is binding until you agree to it in writing.
What you agree to
- The quote is yours to share, or you have permission to share it.
- The details you give us are true, to the best of your knowledge.
- You won't upload anything harmful, illegal, or that isn't a quote for building work.
- You'll keep the sign-in links we email you to yourself.
Your information
We only keep what we need to check your quote and contact you about it. Our privacy notice explains what we keep, who sees it and how to ask us to delete it.
Our responsibility
We take care to price jobs properly, but offers are estimates, not advice. We are not responsible for losses that we couldn't reasonably have foreseen. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer or our responsibility where the law doesn't allow us to limit it.
Ending things
You can stop using DropYourQuote at any time and ask us to delete your information. We may stop working on a quote or close an account if these terms are broken.
Changes and the law
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you upload a quote is the one that applies to it. These terms are under the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
